"Young people in Montenegro deserve the same opportunities as their peers across Europe. That is why we exist."

Our Story

How it all started — and why the time was right

Montenegro is a small country with enormous potential. But for years, something essential was missing: a systematic approach to youth entrepreneurship education. While their peers in Scandinavia, Germany, and the Netherlands were learning how to start companies through JA programs, young people in Montenegro had no access to that kind of hands-on knowledge.

In 2021, that changed. With the founding of JA Montenegro, the country became part of a global network active in over 100 countries — a network that helps 12 million young people develop future-ready skills every year.

Today, our programs run in schools across Montenegro, from primary schools to universities. The Student Company program has been recognized by the European Commission as a Best Practice in Entrepreneurship Education — and it is now available to Montenegrin students.

Vision & Values

What drives us

Entrepreneurial Mindset

We believe entrepreneurship is not just business — it is a way of thinking. We teach young people to see problems as opportunities and to act instead of waiting.

Equal Opportunity

Every young person in Montenegro deserves access to quality entrepreneurship education — regardless of school, city, or family situation.

Learning by Doing

Our programs are not lectures. Students start companies, create products, manage finances, and compete — learning through real work.
