AI-READY EDUCATORS: TRAIN-THE-TRAINER PROGRAMME FOR TEACHERS ACROSS EUROPE

Junior Achievement Montenegro (JA Montenegro), in cooperation with JA Europe, is organising AI-Ready Educators, an intensive four-day Train-the-Trainer programme for high (secondary) school teachers from across the European Junior Achievement network. The programme will take place in Podgorica, Montenegro, from 27–30 October 2026, bringing together up to 15 teachers from JA Europe member countries.

The programme is designed to equip teachers with practical knowledge, tools, and methods for integrating Artificial Intelligence and Digital Entrepreneurship into the classroom. Grounded in the European DigComp 2.2 and EntreComp frameworks, the four-day programme will combine educational sessions, hands-on workshops, individual and team-based activities, AI tool exploration, design thinking, peer teaching, and collaborative lesson development.

The call is open to high (secondary) school teachers who are actively involved in implementing Junior Achievement programmes or projects and have English language proficiency at B2 level or above. Previous experience with AI tools is not a requirement. The selection process will place particular emphasis on teachers’ motivation to learn and innovate, their openness to new digital approaches, and their potential to apply and share the knowledge gained within their school communities.

The impact of AI-Ready Educators is designed to extend well beyond the four-day training. Following the programme, each participant will be expected to share the knowledge and tools gained with at least 5 peer teachers and 50 students in their home country. Participants will also gain access to practical classroom resources, a co-created open-access resource bank, and a pan-European peer learning network.

All interested secondary school teachers are encouraged to contact their national Junior Achievement office for further information about the programme, participation requirements, and the application process.

Application deadline: 10 September 2026.
