MINI COMPANY PROGRAM LAUNCHED IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN MONTENEGRO FOR THE FIRST TIME

For the first time in Montenegro, the Mini Company program has been launched in primary schools, marking a significant milestone in entrepreneurship education for younger students.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Mini Company program, developed by JA Worldwide, is designed for students aged 13–16 and introduces them to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship through hands-on experience. Students work in teams of 3–5 to create and manage their own mini companies.

KEY ASPECTS OF THE PROGRAM
Students learn basic business concepts
Teams develop a product or service idea
Practical experience in managing a small business
Mentorship from business professionals
Duration of one school year

LAUNCH IN MONTENEGRO
JA Montenegro has successfully introduced the program in over 30 primary schools across the country. The launch was supported by the Ministry of Education and local business communities.

The program includes:

Teacher training workshops
Business mentor matching
Access to JA learning materials
Student company registration support
End-of-year company fair

FIRST RESULTS
Early feedback from participating schools has been overwhelmingly positive:

Over 600 students enrolled in the first cycle
Strong engagement from both students and teachers
Business mentors report high enthusiasm from young entrepreneurs
Schools requesting expansion of the program
