FIRST TEACHER TRAINING HELD WITHIN THE STEAM4EQUALITY PROJECT ON THE TOPIC OF THE “DIGITAL SCHOOL CONCEPT

As part of the STEAM4EQUALITY project, the first teacher training was held in February 2026 on the topic of the Digital School Concept. This training was organized to enhance teachers’ digital competencies and introduce innovative approaches to education.

ABOUT THE TRAINING
The training brought together teachers from various schools across Montenegro, providing them with the opportunity to learn about the digital school concept and the possibilities that modern technologies offer in the educational process.

Participants were introduced to:

The digital school concept and its key elements
Tools for digital teaching
Methodologies for integrating technology into the teaching process
Examples of good practice from the region and Europe

STEAM4EQUALITY PROJECT
STEAM4EQUALITY is a project aimed at promoting equality in STEM education, with a special focus on gender equality and inclusivity. The project is implemented in partnership with organizations from several European countries.

Through this project, JA Montenegro strives to:

Enhance teachers’ digital competencies
Promote STEM education among young people
Contribute to reducing the gender gap in STEM fields
Introduce innovative approaches to teaching

NEXT STEPS
Following the successful first training, additional trainings and workshops for teachers are planned, as well as activities with students that will be implemented in the coming months.

This training represents an important step in the implementation of the STEAM4EQUALITY project and contributes to improving the quality of education in Montenegro.
